T he month of April is important for the people of our country. This month we celebrate the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. The people of our country are very happy at this time. This New Year reflects our culture and unity. We perform rituals for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. These rituals help to give a positive start. During the New Year, traditional sweets like Kokis, Kavum, and Asmi are made. I feel that a year is not complete without these. There are games and events during the New Year. These events create happiness and unity. The New Year is about forgetting the past and moving forward with new hopes. Every year on April 13 and 14, we celebrate the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. So now we are in such a beautiful month.

Friendship is a valuable relationship in life. A true friend is with us in happiness and sorrow. A true friend is with us when we need it. That is true friendship. We need trust to maintain a friendship. Without trust, it is difficult to maintain a friendship. A true friend protects our secrets. It is difficult to find true friends now. Some friends are with us only for their own benefit. I also had such friends. They broke my trust. I don't trust friends now. But I talk to them. Some friends I met were good. They helped me. I thank them. But l don't trust friends.😊💕

Listening to songs  🎧💕 My hobby is listening to songs. I like listening to love songs the most. When I listen to songs, my mind becomes relaxed. I also like listening to old songs and sad songs.   When I listen to songs, I forget my problems. But some songs bring back old memories. It's sad. But those memories are beautiful. I work while listening to songs. At that time, I don't feel tired. I like listening to songs on rainy days. It's a great feeling. Songs can bring peace to my mind. So listening to songs is my hobby.

My learning assistant is my uncle. He helped me a lot. He name is Malinga. My uncle is a teacher. He teaches at G/ Hegalle Maha Vidyalaya. My uncle is a teacher at Dhamma School. He is honest, humble and brave .I'm talking about Chutti Mama.   Chutti Mama helped me study. He worked hard to push me forward. My uncle entered me in Dhamma School competitions. That's why I lost my fear. Since then, l have studied well. My uncle has been a great strength to me. He taught me to study and win challenges. Chutti Mama pushed me into dancing. I will never forget his help. I am lucky to have an uncle like this. So, I love you Chutti Mama.💗💫
